How does Float Therapy Work?

You will float effortlessly on the surface of approximately 11 inches of water that is saturated with about 1000 Lbs. of medical grade Epsom salt and it is virtually impossible to sink in a float tank! The temperature of the water is kept warm at 95F, the same as your body’s skin temperature.
Both the weightlessness coupled with the water temperature gives the illusions that you are suspended in air and your brain waves slow to a theta level: a lovely dream state releasing endorphins and reducing cortisol. The Epsom salt solutions pull toxins and lactic acids, aiding in the recovery process, lifting your mood and replenishing magnesium to the body.
